Dear Duffy I know no other way to try and get ahold of you so maybe this will. It has been 20 years since the last time I saw you and you were with the Duffy Bishop and the rythum dogs
I spelt that wrong oops
I really wish I could see you and the new band and hear the old stories I miss hearing you play
and sing your voice brings tears to my eyes now
every time a I hear you it brings joy and sadness to my heart knowing at one time my father played for you as a drummer and you and my mother used to always hang out still hear you keep in contact with here every once in a while
It brings back fun times in memory to me even though I was so young it has been 20 years since I last saw you and yet a still remember everything about you
I am engaged now 4 years and my fiance would love to meet you we would like to come up to Oregon to see you but have no way to get ahold of you and see you and talk to you or even see you play
if you asked some one for a request I would ask that you sing the winnie winnie man
I think that is what is was called
this is Rod

We wanted to tell you what a joy it was to meet all of you and finally have the chance to see you perform. HOLY MOLY! What a superb show, and what a powerhouse of talent! As for you, Ms.Duffy, one of Koko Taylor's album titles suits you perfectly- a FORCE OF NATURE! To be such a dynamo, and such a sweet lady at the same time, is sadly a rarity in the entertainment world. I'll treasure your kindness, and we are all singing praises of the band to anyone interested in musical finesse. God Bless, and keep knocking their socks off!

It was great seeing you all at Terrapin Station in Boise. As usual the band was tight and you and Chris have such great chemistry on stage. The pipes are golden as usual. Did appreciate being asked to get up and sing one but it's just a policy I have. I won't share my hard-earned stage time unless it's a VERY SPECIAL occasion so I make it a point to not take anyone else's stage time. I'm just funny that way I guess. But it was nice that Ken and Carmel got up to do one...anyway, you all take care and have a blast at Waterfront. Wish I could go! Love you guys, Nancy

Nice web site and much more tunes available. Cool. What's up with this Dover Weinberg Quartet with only three people. These things do not go unnoticed! Too many "morning meetings" in Jacksonville, no doubt. I may just have to find a convertible and a younger woman and drive out to Portland to say hi y'all!

My husband has to be one of your biggest fans. He has told me about the many shows all across the country that he has attended. His birthday is in April and you will be at Lefty's in Salem, OR which is our hometown. I am going to surprise him and have his birthday party there.... it will be a birthday he will remember for a long time. I have to say that he introduced me to your music and now I'm a huge fan as well. I can't wait to see you in Salem!

Dear Ms. Duffy,
I just recently listened to the Ray Charles Tribute Album that you and your Portland friends put together. I have been following your career for many years and you still blow me away every time I see you. I was looking forward to hearing your wonderful voice once again on the cut "Night Time Is the Right Time". But Alas, some elderly Black blues singer replaced you. She sounded like she was singing from inside Robert Johnsons guitar! It was beautiful but where was the Duffy I have listened to? Well, I looked you up on YOUTUBE. You have done it again. I can't believe you are so creative and able to more than you have already done for "da blues". My wife and I sat in total disbelief that you could BLOW US AFREAKIN AWAY one more time.
For anybody that reads this: please go to YOUTUBE, type in Duffy Bishop and listen to "Night time is the Right Time". If you are not already one of Duffy's army you will be after, I promise.

Duffy and Friends,
It was a special pleasure hearing the band play at Duff's Garage on Friday night. Coming over from Bend, Oregon to hear you 'live' was worth the trip and I look forward to doing it again soon!
If there's ever an opportunity for you to perform in Central Oregon, I know at least a couple venues that would welcome you gladly.
Please come see us...soon!

Thanks,

I'm sure you're really talented and from your photos, you look like you have a great time doing what you're doing. I like your voice, and I'm a huge fan of Christmas music. But I'm sorry... that Latte Land song is one of the most annoying songs I've ever heard. I sincerely hope you didn't write this song. I feel sorry for the future of our nation if people that enjoy or request this song on the radio have offspring.

I used to listen to Duffy and the Rhythm Dogs around Seattle in the 80's. Remember a few shows when Duffy was bald, sometimes she couldn't sing so the Rhythm Dogs would carry on.
Several years later and many states away I stumbled upon a used CD - now I have both.
I'm proud of you and love to listen to you. Always brings back memories of seeing Duffy dance ON the bar in Pioneer Square!
good times :)
You're awesome!

thank you to Duffy for being an outrageous talent...she is the best!
we were lucky enough to meet her on Sunday in Vancouver, and she was generous to track down the name of the artist who wrote "high heeled sneakers," Tommy Tucker. Duffy introduced us to Lee Garrett, who has an exceptional memory for artists, lyrics & music, and performed at the concert tribute to Ray Charles, as well.

Hey Duffy, er Patty -
Girl, you pulled out all the stops and really delivered it for your home town! What a treat. I must say, it takes some kind of moxie to climb on a stage in front of all your high school peers (and first loves, hates, girlfriends, etc.) and open it up like that. You brought a tear to my eye with your closing rendition of that classic BB&HC number; made me think for a moment about Janis' trip home to HER HS reunion many years ago. So glad we could show you the love her school could not. I promise to look you up when in Portland!!
All best wishes,
~ Peter Saucerman

As a true Blues Afficianado....I was mezmerized by you when you sang with Paul DeLay. You started out the set right next to us, and I can't tell you how cool it was to see such a wonderful show-woman at work! You are TRUE to the music and what is in your heart, that's obvious!!! Mike (my fiance) got me your cd a few months back, and I was blown away by your voice, and now after seeing you I am a true Duffy Fan-Addict!!! You are a wonderful, strong, beautiful woman (from one to another, I might say!)
I look forward to much more and will be following you around now, when time and commitments allow. I missed your performance of Night and Day at the tribute, had to watch from up in the Marriott...I almost cried cuz you were so good and I wanted to be RIGHT THERE! But we bought the cd, so will get to hear it over, and over, and over....maybe you'll sing it next year??? (I hope, I hope!)
Sincerely,
Krissy DuBois
